About

Born in Italy, Milan in 1966.
Moved to Cairo – Egypt in 1996 working for various magazines and newspapers like the French weekly Al Ahram Hebdo, the Arab magazine Al Ahram El Arabi and English news magazines Cairo Times and Egypt Insight. In 1998 I was awarded the first prize in the international photo contest of the Dutch based Naarden Fotofestival for the section “2 × 45 minutes – the power of television” Besides I was working on my fine art projects and had two major exhibitions: “Action no action”at Cairo Townhouse Gallery in 1999 and “Personale” in 2000 realised by the Italian Institute of Culture and the Italian Consulate General. In 2001 I moved in Tokyo – Japan and had several exhibitions.
I am now living and working between Berlin and Milan.
