I work in local government and am working on a photo management project. I’m currently evaluating PhotoShelter’s Multi-User product and like it very much, however I’ve been asked to find a server-based application we can install locally since we have plenty of storage and bandwidth available.

Basically, we need to upload images to a central location and allow controlled access to them from multiple users at the same time. They need to be able to be searched by keyword, rated, downloaded, etc. We’d also like to have other members in the organization contribute to the library.

Any suggestions?
