I’m soon to be starting at college studying (amongst other things) some basic photography. But before then, I have one of those not-to-be-missed photographic opportunities, so I need some help…
I’ll be photographing people, mainly indoors during daylight hours, but in varying light conditions (think, on-location TV studios), using a second hand 35mm Minolta. I want to shoot in monochrome (I understand using the phrase ‘black and white’ is not the done thing!) though it will have to be the stuff that can be developed commercially as I don’t have access to developing facilities yet.
I really want to get this right, so would appreciate any advice, especially on the technical side (camera settings, to flash or not to flash, etc).
Thank you in anticipation.
