I am a staff photographer for the Houma Courier in Louisianna. I received a B.A. in Photojournalism from San Francisco State University in 2003, where I trained in both journalistic and studio photography. I have since interned at Magnum Photos and interned as a photographer for The Oakland Tribune. In the past I have worked on photostories in Somalia, Romania, The United Arab Emirates, Oman and Iceland working with such organizations as Odyssey House, The Brasov Visitor, The International Society of Addiction Medicine, The UN’s NAGAAD Umbrella Organization and Dahab Shil, Somalia’s sole remittance company.
