Sai Sivanesan

t was the summer of 1982, I was eight. My parents bought my first camera – a Sunpet-136. The camera lasted long enough for one roll of film, before it was dismantled for its precious lens – to burn invading ants in Nigeria. Photography was put aside for another eight years.
