About
Some of you might recognize me as one of the crazy staffers at the ICP darkroom, and others might know me from the FIT photo department.
A few "facts" about me: I’m a native New Yorker, currently living in Queens. I spend more time in Las Vegas than is healthy, despite the fact that I hate hot weather. I wear out shoes very quickly. Anyone got a line on a good source for Tsubos or Campers? I’m sorta like Kwai Chang Caine, but without the chopsocky. Some people have called me the real-life Julius Knipl, but I dunno if Ben Katchor would be cool with that.
I document urban decay, fading history, musicians (and their studios), offbeat competition, and poker players. Lots of poker players.
My work has been published in Artforum, Inside Edge, New York Daily News, TapeOp, Playboy.com, and Money.com. I also have a number of photographs in ESPN’s book "The Best Hand I Ever Played"

I have just acquired a bunch of rolls of 35mm Kodachrome 200 and 64, from 1995.
I plan on shooting it and cross-processing it (so I can print it in the color darkroom) but I have never shot this sort of film with the intent of crossprocessing. I know there will likely be a color shift inherent in the film since it is old, but that doesn’t bother me too much (I like the excitement of the expired color film crapshoot.)
Anyone have some advice as to how to expose/how much to push? Tricks they have used to emphasize the color shits?
