it is heartbreaking news.

there is meant to be an obituary in next Sunday’s Boston Globe from her family.
there will be another memorial service at Sarah’s place of work, and i’ll post
those details as soon as i have them. Her family and friends are invited to attend.

i’ve gotten in touch with Sarah’s brother and he has given his blessing for
a photographic tribute to Sarah. Erica and i were discussing the best way to go
about this. please, please contribute your feelings and wishes. our initial thought
was a collection of photographs taken in Sarah’s memory to be auctioned for a
charity that Sarah supported.

not sure if it is doable, but it would be great to have a gathering in her honor,
show some of her work and have a chance to remember her amongst friends.

Sarah was a very caring person, she was always ready to give help to others.
on thursday last, i could only see a handful of people, only a few days later
there are literally thousands that Sarah touched with her friendship and
kindness, everyone struck with sorrow and disbelief at her passing.

Sarah’s brother, Jon expressed being overwhelmed with outpourings of love
and respect from so many people in the photographic world.

out of respect for her family, the cause has not yet been reported
by the coroner.

As I said before it is awful news.

Sarah was a good, kind and thoughtful person and it is a great loss.

Another guest book address is www.geocities.com/ruckypuck

I think her family would gather some comfort from everybodies thoughts and words.

It’s been a couple of weeks now since Sarah checked out. Has anyone heard the cause of her passing except for the reference to an “accident”.
