I just checked her LS profile page. It says she logged in 9 days ago. There is no contact no. though. Sorry Julia!!!

Wow! That’s a real shock! She told me in December that she was going to be joining the MG360D project in NOLA but then she wasn’t there when I arrived.
Andy, did she ever communicate with you? I’m on the run today, but when I get a minute, I’m going to search the Boston Globe obits to see if anything comes up. If anybody else can do it sooner, please do and post what you find.

I am so sorry to hear of her death. when you learn more details, please forward them to us. She was a wonderful photographer and a wonderful person. It’s all a big shock….

Neal, there’s no obit in the Globe. i reached a friend via message on flickr, who Sarah was planning on visiting next month. She said it was sudden, and she passed away this weekend, but she had no more details. i sent her a message last week, and wondered why i’d had no reply. last i’d heard from her was a few weeks ago, all she said was she was tired. i know she often suffered from severe headaches. but i just don’t know. i have Sarah’s home number, but not her Mom’s.

I am shocked and saddened as well….She was planning on
visiting us here in Australia next month. I don’t know much right now, just that it was sudden and she’s gone.
I pray for her spirit to be welcomed into the light….

Sarah died at home, it seems there was an accident..
Just discussing now with Julia the best way for LS to send condolences to the family, and/or having some kind of tribute to Sarah.

I had a message via email, and someone from a .mil domain (also were Sarah used to work) announced me her death.
I’m also quite shocked… yes, I feel sad as you all.

Please, erica, let’s us know what we can do. Shocking and sad.

we don’t know that much. i’m waiting to hear about what Sarah’s family is planning for her. and erica and i were thinking of some ideas as a memorial from all her friends and colleagues. if you have some suggestions, please pm us. we’re all terribly shocked. Sarah’s passing is an unexpected and tragic loss to all who knew and loved her.

Oh this is awful, I am just so sad..
I was hoping that Sarah and I would meet when she was here or I was there, she did me a couple of little kindnesses which was lovely of her and I was very grateful for her help.
If there is anything I can do let me know.
My condolences to her family, who must be very traumatized, my thoughts and prayers go out to them.
