I focus my work on immigration, Mexico, and healthcare, and have been involved in documenting migrant communities both locally in North Carolina and globally in Guanajuato, Mexico.

I am especially interested in the implications of immigration policy on communities. I find portraits to be especially powerful and believe that an understanding of immigration must focus on the transnational nature of communities.
