Second hand digital video cameras?

I’m looking at buying a second hand video camera to add to my skills. I was wondering what I should be looking out for in regards to running hours, drum hours etc. Is there an upper limit to drum usage that I should avoid 100hrs+ etc? I am mainly looking at prosumer camera types. Panasonic AG-DVX100, AG-DVC30 or something like the Sony HVR-A1J. The smaller the better.

Any tips would be most helpful.
