Secondhand 7B Wanted in UK
|
I’m looking to buy a secondhand 7B in the UK. Where’s a good place to look for quality secondhand equipment? Is anyone on Lighstalkers selling?
I’m also looking for alternatives to the 7B in case I can’t find a secondhand one. Any recommendations?
thanks,
sebastian

ummmm … I guess If I had one I would know, but I’m gonna ask – what’s a 7B?
|
Bignose…Good question. The only equippment I know of is a Bryston 7B (600w. mono) amplifier which I personally would kill for. ;) But… I don’t think Sebastian is referring to that. So Mr.Meyer, what is a 7B?

Is this it?
I just googled.

Ahhh! Me thinks Ms.Tomoko has the answer. Since so few LS people are studio photogs, I totally forgot about that. Stupid me. Thanks T.

By coincidence, I had been looking at the contact info in Baltimore for studio lighting equipment. I went to him for another reason, but before I googled, I had seen this piece of paper.

Ha – I was Googling “filters” :)

apologies for not being more clear. i’m looking for a Profoto 7B.

Hey Seb,
You could try The Flash Centre-www.theflashcentre.com They sell secondhand stuff too.
Also former Tel. snapper Drew Gardner knows them well there and uses a similar piece of kit from
Elinchrom-he might be able to help you…. drew@drewgardner.com
Best wishes,
JR.

Toby, I just googled “7B.” As I said, my having looked at the studio lighting man, Peter Whedbee, contact info in Baltimore helped me pick the most likely 7B result in this instance. Actually there was only one photo-related result on the first page.
