Seeking housing in Phoenix, AZ

I am relocating from Alabama to Phoenix, Arizona this August to study photography at ASU. I am looking for a place to stay in the area of Phoenix or Tempe. I have a inside-dog that is house-trained and well-behaved. We need to find a place to stay under $600/month. Just me and my dog, Cassie.
