Born 1978 in Gaziantep, Turkey.
Studied Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul.
Finished a master-class on documentary photography, in Nordens Fotoskola, Sweden.
Worked as a Asistant Curator for Photography Gallery at the Istanbul Modern and staff photographer for Radikal newspaper.
Working on assignments for Gamma and WPN (WorldPictureNews) agencies and works as a freelance photographer
His photographs have appeared in many publications, including: The New Yorker, Stern, Wall Street Journal, Dagens Nyheter, Le Figaro, and Cosmopolitan etc..
Currently living in Istanbul, working on his own projects.
