Sexual Violence by the U.S. Military - Impunity, or ??

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,24074158-2703,00.html

My colleague ‘Jane’ in Japan, originally from Australia is finally receiving assistance from Prime Minister’s office of Australia for suffering from US Military sexual violence (rape)sustained in Japan. ‘Jane’, an Australian, has been a long time resident of Japan. The Japanese courts and the U.S. government has shown very little care or ‘concern’ in capturing the perpetrator. Do we see more examples of Impunity by the U.S. government ??

you might want to have a look at this story. It appears not to be an isolated incident.
