Shiven Thapa

As a researcher, i work at the South Asia Watch on Trade, Environment and Economics (SAWTEE).The overall objective of SAWTEE is to build the capacity of concerned stakeholders in South Asia by equipping them with knowledge, information and skills to voice their concerns particularly in the context of liberalisation and globalisation.

I also work as a senior sub-editor for Shangrila magazine. www.shangrila.com.np and have had extensive experience in various publications locally and internationally.

I am also part of the Da-Mind Tree Network, an association of editors and idea conceptualizers from various interconnected academic backgrounds. We also assist foreign journalists and photojournalists or media teams travelling to Nepal to adjust to local conditions and assist them with logistical and technical support for their work here along with access to places and people whenever and whereever appropriate.
