I am Kurdish. I was born in 1977, two years after the failure of the 75 Revolution and three years before the 8 Year War with Iran. I grew up in the war and because of another war, the Gulf, I became a refugee and after three years of camps, ended up in the US. I am an architect by profession, photographer and film-maker when I have the opportunity and calligrapher in my spare time. I am forever in search of home.
