About
Travel photographer Skyler Burt grew up in the north west of the U.S.A. where he grew a love for nature and the outdoors. He left as a teenager to hitch-hike around America’s National Parks with a old film camera and instantly fell in love with travel photography. Since then Skyler has received a B.A. in Visual Journalism from Brooks Institute of Photography, and has been traveling the globe looking for great moments. He and his wife Heather work side by side in their travel photography company,Yellow Street Photos and currently his stock photos are represented by Lonely Planet Images, Getty and Roving Eye. This travel photographer made South Korea his home where he worked as the Photography Director and staff photographer for the Korea Sun Magazine, but now he is moving forward, every year making great travel photos from the wonderful countries he visits. My wife and I are wanting to apply for MFA in Photography, we’ve looked around but most seem to be either too expensive/but fit our style or reasonable/but no where near our style. We shoot travel and freelance for newspapers/magazines. I guess it kinda sound silly asking this but, does anyone know of good universities anywhere in the world(up to USA accreditation)that would fit our style and not add too much to my already mountainous pile of student loan debt?
