We are back after an exciting tour of Slideluck launches in Central and South America, and we are pleased to be home and gearing up for Slideluck Potshow XI next Saturday, March 29th at 8pm to be held at the Chelsea Art Museum in Manhattan. This event is being celebrated in conjunction with The Armory Show, The International Fair of New Art.
I am also giving you one last chance to submit your finest, most thought provoking work: The extended submission deadline will be Saturday, March 22nd. The themed portion of this slideshow will be illustrating “Patterns,” and we are looking for creative and novel observations on this topic, from a variety of media and genres. There is also an open, un-themed half of the slideshow for which we are seeking strong, cohesive entries as well. Please refrain from emaiing me, but for last minute submission information,visit this page, or visit our website to see examples of past slideshows. As previously mentioned, Redux Pictures, an independent photo agency based in New York, will be reviewing all photo story submissions and will choose one to represent and pitch to publications worldwide.

Unfortunately, the attendance of this Slideluck will be limited to six hundred people. Admission to the show will be contingent on one of two factors: one must either be a member of Slideluck Potshow, or they must have a VIP pass for The Armory Show. We are asking people to RSVP, and we recommend securing memberships in advance of the show. Please note, that regardless of RSVP, membership, or VIP passes, we will not be able to allow more than 600 people in at a time. Please arrive early, or better yet, get involved to ensure your spot inside!

The Chelsea Art Museum, home of the Miotte Foundation, showcases contemporary and modern art and thematic exhibitions that examine current social issues. The Museum’s exhibitions are complemented by a comprehensive public program consisting of artist talks, round table discussions, group tours, film screenings, lectures, concerts and dance performances.
