Slideshow with audio. What programs???

I was told soundslides … are there any better???

What is best for capturing audio??? Mini Disc?

SoundSlides is great, super easy to use and it exports as a shockwave document (flash) or a quicktime, either of which are easy to put online. You can also use iMovie but it won’t make a flash doc, just a quicktime.

I have used Olympus and Marantz a lot and like them both. The Marantz is too big for photojournalism, though, and also a lot of $$. The Olympus is small and cheap. I’ve been considering an Edirol R-09. There are several threads about that on here.
