SNAP fundraiser for the AIDS Committee of Toronto
Here is the quote from the SNAP web site (http://www.snap-toronto.com ):
SNAP! is a photographic fundraiser for the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) comprised of a live auction of curated art, a silent auction, a photo competition and a cocktail reception which last year, was attended by over 700. Net proceeds from the event will support ACT’s programs and services for people living with, affected by, or at risk for HIV / AIDS.
The Competition is now OPEN…. ACT welcomes all original works of photography or photo-based art for submission to the SNAP! Photo Competition. Amateur and professional photographers are invited to participate. Deadline for submission is February 17, 2006.

Kirill! :)))..hey bro, glad you finally posted! :)))...SNAP is a great-great organization, and I recommend that all interested submit (toronto photographers: "artists" and "photojournalists" alike ;)))) ).....the dinner and silent auction is a great time and lots of photogs everywhere (if you can stand that sort of thing, which I can’t, but its a great chance to meet people: photographers, collectors, galleries and what often seems to be the "entire" toronto photography "scene" ;l)))..................but, I WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS TO SUBMIT: its a great organization and great opportunity: do some good: for ;yourself and others! :)))...cheers, Bob

Hi Bob, it takes some time to get involved, you know… As for the event – I’ve never been on the dinner/auction so can’t speak up for it, but the motivation to participate is still strong enough I think.
