Southern Lebanon

Hi fellow stalkers,

I was in Lebanon just prior to the Israel/Hezbollah conflict, and am planning a return in Feb next year for an essay.

I have been in touch with the PIO for UNIFIL and am awaiting to hear back for confirmation, but I was wondering if anyone has some recent experience in the South? I am also planning on spending some time in the camps, but have had some serious communication issues with UNRWA.

Hi james,

the south with UNIFIL is different from the South with Hezbollah, so you should budget time to be able to set up both. Plan a week of waiting for approval for anything in the south, non-UNIFIL related.

The camps are touch and go and it really depends on which one you are planning on getting into. PM me for more specific info….

its deppend on what are you doing there and your project so first of all you have to be familliar with people their and and trusty and to give info about your project and plan so have local assistance be good to you and faciliate your work if you need some aid contact me
