State Journal-Register is seeking a photographer

The State Journal-Register is seeking a photographer to join its staff covering Illinois’ capital city. A candidate for this job will pace a high value on storytelling photographs that capture real human moments. We’re looking for someone who can shoot for the daily newspaper, post galleries online and tackle multimedia projects. Applicants should have a four-year degree in photography or a related discipline.

The State Journal-Register is an equal opportunity employer. The application should include a portfolio, resume and cover letter. For ease of viewing, print portfolios are preferred but discs will be accepted. If you submit a disc, it is strongly suggested that you include on a separate sheet, legible thumbnail images and captions of your work.
