The Other Hundred aims to present the work of 100 outstanding
photographers from around the world. The selected 100 photographs and the accompanying stories will be made into a photobook, intended for wide distribution through an international publisher. Our judging panel, featuring Ruth Eichhorn, Stephen Wilkes, and Richard Hsu, will have a significant role in shaping this book. Winning photographers will receive an honorarium of US$300.

We hope that the pictures will provide a different perspective on those who do not usually have the chance to have their story told. It is important to us that the subjects of these photographs come across as real people to be understood, and even celebrated.
