*San Francisco documentary photographer with a strong interest in housing issues and the history of SE Asia. Projects include persons facing eviction in SF’s Mission District during the dot-com boom (for The New Mission News), families with children living in Single Room Occupancy (SRO) hotels (with SF City-wide Families in SROs Collaborative), and the human face of displacement currently taking place in Cambodia.
*Work has appeared in SF Chronicle, SF Bay Guardian and The Independent (of London) Sunday Review, as well as community papers New Mission News and El Tecolote.
*Exhibited in group and/or solo in San Francisco, Tokyo and Tijuana, Mexico.
*In separate capacity as factual/legal researcher, strong advocate for the (mental) health rights of U.S. veterans of war and the education rights of California’s K-12 public school children.
*Long-time classroom volunteer in the SF Unified School District.
