strange problem with pbk g4
2 1/2 year old (yes, getting on there) powerbook g4, has a crawling effect on the keyboard.. that is, one after another the keys are getting stuck, and then unstuck. first delete button.. how useful. then, the semi-colon/colon.. no smilies for several days. now moving on to the alphabet, beginning with ’ j ’ which is slightly annoying personally.
anyone think the simple problem is the keyboard is going? or does it signal some other forthcoming calamity? anyone had this happen?
thanks

Have you tried cleaning the thing? The only I can think off is something sticky changing position underneath the keys…

Stop dropping your marshmallows on your keyboard…

Any computer 2 1/2 years old or older should have a semi-colon/colon colonoscopy.

funny funny! damn, forgot about the marshmallow problem. i know. i’m addicted. think i’d better go to marshmallow rehab.

julia, the keys are designed so you can take them off.my two year old does it all the time!
or you could just wait for the marshmallow to reach the page up and down keys, play a couple of dvds and toast the thing.after all, toasted marshmallows taste even better :)

hey! i could make s’mores!!!
onto a shift key now.. at least there are two of those.. when it’s an only key i have to copy and paste the individual letter.
i feel like i’m in an episode of get smart and sooner or later my shoe will explode.
