Sublet or room in NY needed

Hey everyone,

I’m coming to New York on the 14th of December and need to find a room to stay for 9 nights.

I was supposed to stay at a friends place, but since he moved in a new appartment, and they have strict guest policy, this is not working out and I’m in need of a room.

Checked out the hostels, but there is no room and most b&b’s are all booked.
Internetconnection would be great as well.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

my wife and i have a large victorian house in peekskill, ny an hour outside nyc (grand central station) via metro-north railroad. if your in a pinch, you can stay in one of our guest rooms.

Thanks so much for the offer.
Found a place to stay in the meantime though, so won’t need the guestroom you have on offer.
But totally know what you mean about the kindness of strangers while you’re travelling. It would be so different without it.
