Swiss artists in Labs residency

Dear Artists,
The Artists-in-Labs research group/Institute for Cultural Studies in the Arts at the Zurich University of Arts ZHdK together with the BAK, Bundesamt für Kultur (Swiss Federal Office of Culture) is pleased to announce that you can now apply for a residency in 2009 in a Swiss Science lab by submitting a proposal. Swiss artists as well as artists who have lived for the last 5 years in Switzerland or who are married to a Swiss person are eligible to apply.

We now encourage artists from all mediums to apply with a proposal that relates to the existing research fields in one of our four participating science laboratories:

The Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL (Bellinzona)
Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence IDSIA (Lugano)
University of Geneva, The Physics Section/CERN (Geneva)
École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL,
Brain Mind Institute BMI (Lausanne)

These Swiss Artist-in-Labs residencies will take place from March 2009 to December 2009.
