Don’t know what sort of scanner he uses but he is the best in the biz!

He is one of Chris Reid’s (from Blanco Negro) best mates and he really knows what he is doing.

The big plus is he actually comprehends what you want.

And he is really inexpensive!

The scans i’m getting done are 150mb, reason being i need an imacon scan. But I’m gonna pick myself up a Nikon coolscan 9000 at B&H when i’m over there later this year since the aussie dollar is doing alright.

Hey James, I’d put in another good word for Shayne Pearce, he doesn’t have an Imacon but uses a Heidelberg, and I’ve seen him produce some amazing results from it. If you haven’t already given him a buzz I’d say it’s a good idea. He’s the friendliest scan-man in Sydney if not the best!

if you buy an imacon from b&H i promise to use you for some scanning! i know ken duncan’s lab on the central coast do raw scans on an imacon if you want to go down the spiritual path, but testimonials from lisa and ed don’t get much better.
