I love meeting people and sharing their stories. I’m interested in humanitarian causes and development issues. I believe in the power of the photograph and the appetite for sophisticated and challenging images.

I love biking with as few gears as possible. I miss the darkroom, but a kitchen does a good job making up for the loss.

After graduating in 2006 from Boston University and spending two years in newspapers, I packed up and went to Africa. As papers cut staff and close doors, I’m trying to help the next phase of journalism to blossom.
