lens replacement in Tokyo

Hey all.

Had a lens mishap yesterday and need to replace my Canon 24-70 2.8 IS “L” lens…considering doing it here in Japan rather than waiting until I return to the US as I have another week of shooting.

Questions: What kind of customs, etc. would I face if I replace it in Sapporo or even Tokyo before returning to the states?

Any advice appreciated—-tammy
