Tamim has born in 1988 at Dhaka, Bangladesh. He did his diploma in Photojournalism from Pathshala (South Asian Institute of Photography), Bangladesh and now doing graduation in Photographic Media at Griffith College, Dublin.

He began his photography Career as a freelance photographer and last September 2010 to December 2011 he worked as a Product Photographer with Lal Teer Seeds LTD, Bangladesh.

He participated in several workshops conducted by Raghu Rai, Magnum Photo; Phillip Benkinshop, Munem Wasif, Agency Vu; Sohrab Hura and others.

He participated in several group exhibitions in Bangladesh and abroad. In 2011 he got 1st prize on story telling on IIUPE, 2011 Bangladesh and an Honorable Mention by Gala Awards 2011, UK and his work published in both of these books. In 2012 he is selected for Fabrica workshop at Venice, Italy.
