Tanguy grew up in Africa, studied Anthropology and Cinema in Canada and worked as a skipper sailing the Mediterranean sea before working in the advertising world in paris. He started his travel photography when focussing on cultural/religious minorities primarily in China, India and Nepal.
In 2008, Tanguy happily moved to New York City with his Parisian girlfriend to focus on the city’s changes. He also satrted working on the American Road (a large body of work of landscape documentary still life portraiture & video), which is in editing process.
Tanguy speaks French, English and basic Spanish, and has a natural ease with languages and foreign places.
