Tanvir Ahmed

Tanvir Ahmed is a documentary photographer based in Dhaka. He completed his B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Meanwhile, he got interested in photography and completed B.A in Photojournalism from Pathshala, South Asian Institute of photography.

He started his photographic career as a staff photographer in DrikNEWS, an International News Photo Agency. Tanvir’s work has been published in national and international dailies and magazines including Time, Days Japan, The Daily Star, The Daily New Nation, Forum etc. His work was exhibited in Bangladesh, Iran, Norway and China. He is awarded in the first International Biennial arranged by Saba Art Academy for his artistic work on Autistic child.
