Tanvir Ahmed

Tanvir Ahmed is a documentary photographer based in Dhaka. He completed his B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Meanwhile, he got interested in photography and completed a B.A course in photojournalism from Pathshala, South Asian Institute of photography. Now, he is working as a staff photographer in DrikNEWS, an International News Photo Agency.
Tanvir’s work has been published in national and international dailies and magazines including Time, The Daily Star, The Daily New Nation, Forum etc. His work was exhibited in many places of Bangladesh along with in Iran, Norway and China. He is awarded in the first International Biennial for Islamic world arranged by Saba Art Academy, Iran for his artistic work on Autistic child.
