Photographer Terrence Jennings was born on the planet called Brooklyn, NY. He began photographing in 1997 and since, his images & writings have appeared in such publications as Trace Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, Vibe Magazine, Uptown Magazine, The Source Magazine The Crisis Magazine, The Urban League’s Opportunity Journal, Savoy Magazine, Russell Simmons’ One World Magazine, The New York Times, Our Time Press, The London Observer, The Amsterdam News, The Village Voice and as well as in several photo art books such as " A Time Before Crack " by Jamel Shabazz (Powerhouse 2005), BLACK: A Celebration of our Culture " (Hylas, 2004), “ In Our Own Image " by Karen Pughes & Patrick Bass Running Press (2001). In addition, he has been the Assignment Editor of the UrbanEye Photo News Service as well as its Chief Photographer, along with being a Staff Photographer for NYC’s Central Park Summer Stage. In 2005, he became the Director of Photography/Photographer for Nubuzzphoto.com, a digital wire service founded by Celebrity Photographer Johnny Nunez.

His partial client list includes The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Dave Chappelle Productions, BlackFilm.com, The UniworldGroup, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), The National Urban League, The National Black Programming Consortium, The Urban World Film Festival, Iaso Records, The Imagenation Film & Music Festival, Hook or Crook Film Productions, The H20 International Film Festival, The 21st Century Foundation, The Jamel Shabazz Photographic Group, The Black Cinema Cafe, Film Life, The Harlem Book Fair/QBR, Harper Collins Publishing, to name a few.
