Tess McEnroe

I will be a senior this fall in the School of Journalism at the University of Montana. I am originally from Minneapolis MN, but call Missoula home now, and will graduate from U of MT in the fall of 2008. This summer I am interning at the Kathmandu Post in Nepal from May 30 to July 30.

I recently began a documentary project on how handicapped people are viewed in society called “Courage Unnoticed.” I want to investigate if they are noticed because they are disabled, or if they are ignored.

While in Nepal, besides working on daily assignments at the Post, I plan to do a personal project on women’s roles in Nepal’s new government.
