Tibet Travel Permit

Anybody know if they’ve restricted travel permits to tibet due to the protests?

yes – all tour operators are banned from sending foreigners and giving them permits. The airport is closed. Chinese people can still go.

Some journalists are getting in by road from Chengdu and Qinghai. Best bet is to bribe/pay a truck driver for a lift.
