Since the age of fifteen, Tobin Yelland has been steadily documenting the shadowy existence of youth and its vestiges in day to day life. First published by Thrasher, Tobin’s work has expanded beyoned the world of San Francisco skaters to become a collection of images giving voice to an entire generation across locales and social identities. His photographs have been printed by numerous publications and have been shown at New York’s Alleged Gallery, Philadelphia’s Institute for Contemporary Art and Space 1026, Los Angeles’ new Image Art, and San Francisco’s Luggage Store.
