Tom Greenwood is a photographer specialising in editorial, development-related and commercial work, as well as fine-art and family portraiture. As a former journalist, he continues to write magazine and newspaper feature stories, as well as human interest material for development organisations. Having spent most of the last decade in South East Asia, he is now based in Sydney.

His images and/or words have appeared on the BBC news website, South China Morning Post newspaper and magazine, Dazed and Confused magazine (UK and Australia), Bangkok Post magazine, Bangkok Airways magazine, The Nation newspaper (Thailand) and The Diplomat (Australia). He is a member of OnAsia photo agency.

Hello. Could anyone possibly help me with editor contacts/e-mails at the New York Times? I have a story to pitch to them but when I call they tell me to post it (ie via a mail box) simply to ‘The New York Times’. Somehow I don’t think that is going to work. I understand that they must be inundated with crap from every corner of the globe but, who knows, they might just like what I’m offering.
I also understand that those who’ve worked for the NYT are asked not to divulge names and addresses. But if you’d be so kind to share this info (confidentially if you’d like to e-mail me at contact@tom-greenwood.com) I would use it ‘unsourced’ and be forever in your debt.
I’m looking for feature and photo editors at the magazine and for the multi-media web page. Come to think of it, similar contacts at other major US papers would also be fantastic (is that pushing it?)
