Documentary photographer, color geek, Tri-x junkie, pinhole artist. Varied interests from an ecclectic life.
I started shooting with lenses, trying to capture ‘the moment’ and rushing images to editors for news publication. Photojournalism had driven me to shoot in a way that was not in my heart. I’ve found my own eye using pinholes.
Photography represents memory and for some, photography is memory. My memories look more like pinhole images, not marked by sharp detail but hazy and full of color. I uproot the mundane by offering shadows, shapes, and shades of color. These are images of footprinted places, too often overlooked in our daily routines.
