Tshephiso Sebyeng was born in 1990 in Bragwanath hospital, south of Johannesburg.
He spent most of his early childhood life moving around. He lived in Hillbrow for the first four years of his life. He later moved to northern side of the country, Limpopo which was by then known as Northern Province were he lived for the next five years. There he attended primary school at Moshasha Primary School (Pietersburg), In 1999 he moved back to gauteng, Johannesburg were he attended the remainder of his primary school at Iphutheng Primary School, in Alexandra. In the year 2003 he started high school at Johannesburg Polytech Institute, and in 2004 he transferred to Kensington High School were he matriculated in 2007. After Matric he studied adverting for a year through a learner ship at Imagination Lab were he obtained a certificate in Advertising.
It was during this stage that he was introduced to photography by MujahidSafodien, and discovered his love for photography. He saved money to buy his first camera Kodak Z700.
From then, he never stopped to look back. In 2009 he completed a foundation course at the Market photo Workshop, were he is currently studying, for an intermediate course. He hopes to study photojournalism and photo documentary course at the same Institution. In the near future he hopes to have his own solo exhibitions on the projects he is currently busy with.
