Future of Still Cameras...

If you have been following the Dirch Halstead’s recent predictions (http://www.digitaljournalist.org/) and RED’s announcement at NAB (see sample image from screen grab here – http://www.red.com/skin/img/gallery-still/4k_1.jpg), its quite evident that this may change the future use of DSLRs and still cameras for journalism – esp, news and sports. This does seem like a death treat to Nikons and Canons!
