Hey all- Just a head’s up:
Covering the Holes in History
Tues., June 27, 7:00 p.m.
Photojournalists talk about the real dangers they face in the field and what happens when their images are censored by editors and governments: Lois Raimondo, photojournalist for the Washington Post, whose pictures and stories have also appeared in the New York Times, Life, Newsweek, and Time; Becky Lebowitz, national picture editor,New York Times; and Stefan Zaklin, staff photographer, European Pressphoto Agency. Moderated by Jan Colbert, associate professor, Missouri School of Journalism. Location: Swayduck Auditorium, 65 Fifth Avenue.
It’s at the New School. I think there’s a fee to get in, but then there’s free wine after, or so they say. Mmmmmmmmmmm. Free wine.
