Great pics, Alan. Like Suicide Streets best, then 9/11 and then Mitteleuropa. Central Europe mustnt do anything for me, I guess. I noticed something about Suicide Streets, pic # 22, though: the caption says 4thID staff officers, but the center of your pic is a major or a lieutenant colonel wearing a 10th Mountain Division patch on his uniform. Was the 10MD around there somewhere as well?

akaky, writing captions from memory and not notes. will check and correct if needed. 4th I.D. HQ had the Baghdad sector in 2005, i think a brigade from 10th Mtn. may have been attached to them.

strong work alain… but I actually enjoy mitteleuropa the most for it’s lack of ‘ambition’ (maybe a wrong term but no news type of thing) compared to others, nice to see archdukes car… but i’d like to see more 9/11/07 photos, the last 4 in the series taken this year are very powerful… the people on them look really scary, every single face… i am becoming afraid of america (but that’s not your fault alain :-)). best,
