I was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1972.

After emigrating to the United States when I was two years old, I spent my formative years in Southern California. It was there that I discovered my love for music and photography through my time experiencing the local indie and punk scene.

In 2003, I packed my bags and left Southern California to pursue my dreams of travelling to Southeast Asia and rediscovering my roots. After touring through Indochina, I was drawn to Cambodia where I am now based. As a six year resident of Phnom Penh, I have documented images for various local and international publications along with shooting commissions for development agencies and private companies.

In early 2009, I delved into the multimedia world and have been producing multimedia slideshows for various publications including the Phnom Penh Post along with several development agencies.

I count photographers Glen E. Friedman, James Natchwey and Jeff Curtes as my main sources of inspiration.

I also enjoy the occassional scrabble game and am obsessed with gadgets.
