I started my career as a photographer in the late 90’s in and around the Southern California region working with several local indie and punk rock bands, specializing in live music photography.
Upon my relocation to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2003, my photographic focus shifted from live music to a more serious foray into social and political photojournalism. Over the next 3 years, I covered various assignments ranging from the coronation of the new King to covering the first ever arts festival held in post-Khmer Rouge Phnom Penh. Both leading Cambodian publications the Cambodia Daily and the Phnom Penh Post regularly featured my work.
After 3 years living in South East Asia, I have made the journey back to Southern California where I am now freelancing with several area publications and commercial commissions. I divide my time between Orange County and Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I am available for assignments in either the area.
