This independent media initiative was noted in the LS RSS feed, but I thought I would present it here more prominently as it should be of interest to all of us for several reasons:

They are interviewing all kinds of people in Iraq by using Skype as well as normal telephone lines, and making their newscasts available as podcasts. So just in terms of taking advantage of new media, this is quite interesting. But they are also providing stories on a variety of topics that one doesnt often hear otherwise, so you get a rather fuller picture of life in Iraq. Have a look.
