Hey all,

I’ve got a prob with the lens contacts on my Mark II’s body. It doesn’t seem to register any lens i put on it. The LCD shows the aperture as “00” and auto focus won’t operate. I’ve cleaned the contacts and tried several lens’, but to no avail.
Spoke with the good folk at Canon who told me to bring it in, just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and if there was a solution other than taking it in for a service (no Canon repair in Pakistan, and you can’t courier electronics out of the country – so i have to travel to Bangkok for repairs).

Any help most appreciated.
