Web Documentary Award

FRANCE 24, the international news television channel and RFI, the international news radio station, are launching the first Web Documentary Award at the 21st Visa pour l’Image festival.

The FRANCE 24-RFI Award will honour the web documentary that sets itself apart from the other entries in terms of choice of subject, originality and innovative use of new multimedia tools.

Please find attached the call for entries. All information can be downloaded on FRANCE24.com and RFI.fr

Entries must be sent on 20th July at the latest

Hello,
for the french speakers, here’s a Webdocumentary made by the France 24 Staff : http://www.france24.com/static/infographies/somalie/
Although everything is in French, it’s a good exemple of what they are expecting.
For information, France 24 and RFI target is not the Frenchs living in France but the french speaking people all around the world (France 24 is not broadcasted through DVB-T in France, you have to have an Internet Box, satellite, etc. to watch it).
RFI is 100% state owned, France 24 50% (the other half is owned by the main private TV Channel in France, TF1).
