What Satellite system to use to transmit?

Work wants to upgrade with a sat phone and a broadband sat connection to transmit with. Any recommendations?

We use the Thrane&Thrane Bgan not the RBgan (regional) through out the world. If you are not streaming live video I suggest the Nera World Pro 1000/1010. It gives you 384k downlink and 240k uplink. It is the smallest I have seen that gives you more than 200k up.
I currently use the Thrane Explorer 700 that gives you 492k up and down which we need for our live broadcasts. But if 250k up works I suggest the smaller Nera.

Costs for most data connection services for light use is $60 a month and $6.50 per meg. Which really runs up cost. They also have unlimited plans of higher monthly cost. I don’t know who our service provider is because I don’t pay the bill but I always hear about it when I run the bill up.
Hope this helps
