Final Cut on MacBook Pro?

Comrades,

Is there possibly a Mac guru out there who can tell me why I can’t get Final Cut Pro to run on my spankin new MacBook. It says I am missing an AGP Graphics card. I find that hard to believe. Maybe Mac can sell me one for another ungodly amount of money. I heard from an extrtemely unreliable source that I would have to wait for the 2007 version of FC. But I want to make audio slideshows now! Is there maybe another (cheap [free]) program that I can use that gives the same amount of control (zoom, pan, audio/visual interface) as Final Cut? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Oh, and check out my lacrosse photgraphy at www.GrizLax.com – HA!
