WorkShopAsia

Hi everyone – Just to let you know I am launching a photo workshop programme, WorkShopAsia, together with photojournalist and book designer Steven Coleman, and a host of visiting tutors. The first workshop will be in Luang Prabang, Laos, Feb 5 – 12 2006, and we’ll be joined by Philip Jones Griffith as a guest instructor throughout the week. Should be exciting. Analogue or digital equipment is fine, and the focus is on reportage/documentary storytelling. The workshop schedule is tough but should be rewarding. Maximum of 16 participants for this one so do get in touch as soon as possible if you’re interested. Our website is at www.workshopasia.com or email us at info@workshopasia.com. Cheers and best wishes, Jack

i would love to come along is there a bus to that place from london or do i take a taxi? I have now bought a new camera but i want to know if there will be facilities to develop disposable camera film on site. I have seen the work of patrick brown, I really hope he is not going to be one of the tutors….. as his pics are never in focus and he uses black and white film, doesn’t he know you can buy colour now?
